This site used to be a pro-eating disorder site, and had a 'sister' site, evanescence-continued.itgo.com.
I have been in recovery since 2005, and decided to delete the content of this site.
I did not want to delete the site completely, because I wanted people to know why the site was 'deleted.'
I am happy to continue to answer questions for anyone who is doing a report on pro ed sites or ed's in general-feel free to email me and I'll get back to you.
However, I do want to say the following:
Eating Disorders ruin lives. Even after years of being in recovery, you still suffer the repercussions of the disorder. It is important to, for those who know someone suffering, that no matter how good the program or doctor, they will not recover until they want to.
This is not anyway to live. No one deserves it-and if you are feeling like this is all you can control, then take a look at your life, and decide what you want to do with it. Do you want to live and have a career-or do you want to constantly obsess day in day out about food, how to eat it, conceal it, lose it...
And if you're under 18, take advantage of it-you have a lot more treatment options available to you.
